Level 3, 5 or 7?

As a rough guide:

Level 3 is for supervisors, front line managers, practical people, those who don’t want to have to write long assignments (though there is some writing)

Level 5 is for line managers, graduates who have moved into managers, more experienced managers who have no management qualifications, and new managers who are expected to go higher. It’s regarded as undergraduate level.

Level 7 is for managers who already have some management qualifications, managers of other managers, those who are strategic, and those who may want to go on to an MBA later. It’s regarded as post graduate level.

Note: these levels, 3 5 and 7, used to be called 3 4 and 5. The QCA renumbered them in 2005. Very confusing!
