ILM Management Training Programmes

ILM (the Institute of Learning and Management) has its roots in City & Guilds and the NEBS programme and as a result is particularly well known by L&D Managers for its Level 3 First Line Management programmes.

Like CMI, ILM is both an Awarding Body and a Membership organisation and offers a strong suite of learning support materials on student pages within its website.

Within the past couple of years, ILM's expansion into Level 5 and Level 7 and considerable investment in marketing its qualifications and also in the range and quality of learning support resources mean that it is certainly now giving CMI a run for its money in terms of what it offers.

ILM units are typically smaller in size, and therefore you need more of them to compose a programme.  This means that your choices are more granular and you can therefore get even closer customisation.

ILM a bit like CMI is quite detailed and exacting in its requirements.
