QUALIFICATIONS: HOW DO THEY WORK?

17 of the passport units can be used as the foundation for a professional qualification with the following awarding bodies:

	The Chartered Management Institute
	Institute of Leadership & Management

Apply what you have learned back in the work place, write that up following a brief that we give you and the Croft team will assess your work and give you written feedback. Providing your reach the required standard they will then submit you for a qualification.

Qualifications can be based on just 1 unit (e.g. CMI Award) through to 13 units (e.g. ILM Diploma).

Which Level?

There are 3 levels of qualification on offer, from level 3-7. You should only complete a qualification for the level that is right for your current position in the workplace, as you will be required to complete work-based assignments.

As a rule of thumb, the levels correspond to the following management positions:

• Level 3 - First Line Manager
• Level 5 - Middle Manager
• Level 7 - Senior Manager

What Next?

The first step is to book your first taught session. Once you have attended the Croft Centre Team will contact you to invite you to one of the monthly induction sessions.

If you have not yet booked your first taught session, click here for available courses.

The induction session will provide you with all the necessary information you need in order to complete the qualification and here we will also give you your first assignment. It is also a great opportunity for you to meet fellow students and link up in to action learning sets if you so wish.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

There is no need to prepare anything beforehand for this course. Refreshments and a buffet lunch will be provided.
