There are at least 80 licenced awarding bodies across the UK, many of whom offer management qualifications of one kind or another.  Partnering with these bodies are thousands of training providers varying from the "one man bands" to the colleges and universities - and that's quite apart form the tens of thousands of training companies who do not offer accredited programmes at all.  How do you know who to choose as your partner?

Croft Centre specialises in high quality accredited management development programmes. This is our core business - it gets our whole focus, and all our administration, delivery and support resources revolve around this specialism.  As a result we continuously receive commendations from our clients and from our awarding bodies for the consistency and quality of our work.

We chose to partner with CMI (Chartered Management Institute), ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) and BTEC (part of Edexcel) because these three awarding bodies set the blue chip standards in management education. To the best of our knowledge we are the only specialist accredited training provider with multiple accreditation across the three leading awarding bodies. We understand in depth how each awarding body sets out its syllabus framework, and the standards and requirements they each demand of managers on their courses.  That means Croft Centre gives you impartial advice as to which awarding body would best suit your development needs and your organisational culture.

We employ subject specialists with proven track records in delivering management development along with real world commercial and public sector experience.  Croft Centre lecturers are also practitioners.  This helps them relate the learning directly to your business environment and means that they also understand learning theory and the importance of making sessions varied, interactive and fun.

We are not a college.  This means we don't have large overheads - all the investment cost goes into teaching and supporting your managers.  We don't have lecturers "on tenure" - this means we freely select the best lecturers to meet your specific needs.  We don't have a venue to fill and run - that means we can deliver the learning where you want and when you want - whole days, half days, pairs of days, evenings, weekends - you tell us what you want to do and we will do that.
