CMI at a glance

With CMI as your awarding body you can do an introductory certificate/diploma at level 3 4 or 7 and then enlarge these into (or go straight to) a level 3 Certificate or a level 5 Diploma or a level 7 Executive Diploma.

Leaving aside the introductory awards, the full L3 Certificate or L5 and L7 Diplomas require teaching and assignments on 5 core units and then an additional 3 optional units chosen from a list of 5.

Once you have chosen your units we will work out how to teach them and test them in a logical framework of days and assignments.

The official names of their qualifications are:

Level 3 (Introductory) Certificate in Management

Level 5 (Introductory*) Diploma in Management

Level 7 (Introductory) Executive Diploma in Management

Where qualifications are named "introductory" it means they are of the Award type, i.e. the very short version, often only 4 days of teaching. They are not the same as a full Certificate or Diploma at all. (* and while the Diploma in Management is level 5, the Introductory Diploma in Management is in fact at level 4)
