Certificate in ManagementThe Certificate in Management varies a little bit between Awarding bodies, but is typically between 5 and 10 days in length with anything from 3 to 6/7 units needed. Usually it takes between 6 months and 9 months to complete. All three awarding bodies - CMI, ILM and Edexcel (BTEC) offer Certificate in Management, and it can be a stand-alone qualification, or can be the next step from an Award or you can go on to add further units and do a Diploma. Certificate in Management is available at Level 3 (First Line Manager) Level 5 (Middle Manager) or Level 7 (Senior Manager). The Certificate usually has some mandatory units and some other units that you choose from a list. However CMI has a completely open choice of units for Certificate.
