Training that really works

If people are going to change their behaviour as a result of training it needs:
  1. Regular reinforcement, not just a one-off day: ideally a day a month for a year
  2. Provable application of ideas learned: work based assignments will do this
  3. Motivation to learn: if the participants get a qualification like a Management Diploma then they are more likely to do the work-based assignments – and for these they have to really focus on the teaching sessions!

Therefore an accredited training programme is the best answer if you are serious about training your managers.
